Hottie Somerhalder

Wow. Has it really been a whole month since I posted? My apologies. I've been busy doing the mom thing and trying to meet my March deadline.

But I come not only with apologies but also a little goodie. When I wrote Last Call everyone wanted to know who I pictured as Dean. I didn't really picture anyone as Dean. I just wrote a character, described him and let that be it. Everyone pictures characters differently, and I didn't want to put an image of how I saw him in the minds of others. But when I really sat down and thought about Dean after the book was written, I guess I pictured a Jensen Ackles thing going on. Does he live up to how you pictured our damaged hero? Probably not.

When I started writing Playing With Fire an image of how Memphis looked instantly popped into my head and it took on a life of its own. When I write Memphis, Ian Somerhalder always helps out a little. Okay, more than a little. Memphis is my version of Ian. I get to do very dirty things to Ian via Memphis. Very. Dirty. Things. And those dirty things are that  much more yummy when looking at this

That, my readers, is my inspiration. Hottie Somerhalder. He is my Memphis. Which could explain why I keep dreaming about him. My friends have a saying when it comes to the men that turn them on: panty soup. I'm sure you can figure out why for yourself ;) He is definitely on my  list of panty soup makers.
